THE COMPANY
Jumbo Transport is a Danish owned transport and forwarding company set up in 1982 with the objective of being an active sparring partner for firms with transport requirements. We currently employ 50 forwarding employees.
Jumbo Transport is an alternative for professional transport buyers in the field of international transport.
Our hallmarks are quality, personal service and flexibility.
Jumbo Transport employs well qualified and committed employees and ensures that our employees receive training on a continuous basis in line with trends and developments.
SERVICE AREAS
Jumbo Transport has at its disposal approx. 100 export juggernauts which are exclusively used for transport on the European market. All export vehicles are fitted with a mobile telephone so that we can keep the customer informed about conditions, which are of relevance to the progress of the transport.
Individual transport solutions are customized in accordance with the transport buyer's wishes and requirements.
Jumbo Transport can offer a storage hotel with accompanying distribution and packing at our terminal in Broendby (Copenhagen area), Vejle and Aarhus.
Jumbo Transport always supplies a top quality service regardless of quantity. Nothing is too small and nothing is too big.
JUST IN TIME
Jumbo Transport has contributed to introducing the philosophy of JUST IN TIME to the transport industry. For our customers this means that regardless of consignments sizes we will always ensure that the goods are collected by/delivered to you or your customer at the agreed time.

Jumbo Transport will always be open to changing a routing transport to an urgent transport.
Jumbo Transport does not take on assignments for which we know in advance that the customer's requirements cannot be met.
GUARANTEE/INSURANCE
Jumbo Transport is a member of the Danish Forwarders Association and with that their Guarantee fund. On all international road transports a CMR insurance is taken out and all assignments are covered by our Last Carriers Liability Insurance. All services rendered are subject to the General Conditions of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders (NSAB 2000).
Jumbo Transport can offer you a Cargo-Safe insurance on every cargo transported.
MATERIEL
Jumbo Transport has own trailers (MEGA trailers) with a loading capacity of 100 cbm / 27 tons / 34 EUR pallets.
Lorry/trailer with a loading capacity of 105 cbm / 30 ton / 37 EUR pallets.
In our fleet is also material for transporting temperature sensitive products.

IT COMMUNICATION
Jumbo Transport today is using special forwarding and warehouse software based on an Oracle database on Linux servers.
Amongst other services we can offer our customers Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), web-bookings and web-tracing.
Jumbo Transport is on-line with the Danish Customs giving a smooth and relyable paperflow.
